What you can expect during your Dental Hygiene Appointment
- Comprehensive review of your medical and dental history
- Teeth and Gum Evaluation
- Oral Cancer Examination
- Periodontal Probing which will identify signs of gingivitis (gum) /periodontal (bone disease)
- Digital X-Rays can be taken if needed to check the health and height of the bone, check for calculus, as well as any abnormalities in the teeth.
- Working with you, we will create a customized treatment plan to fit your individual needs.
- Referral to a dentist or other health care professionals as needed.
