Hi, I'm Donna. I am an independent professional dental hygienist who serves my clients compassionately and thoroughly. I educate my clients so that they can enjoy optimum physical health. I moved to Rocky Mountain House in 1997 and have been practicing dental hygiene here ever since. I have been married for 26 years and have two adult children. I am the proud recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Excellence Award for 2020. My philosophy is to treat others how you would like to be treated.
I am a 1996 graduate of the
University of Alberta's Dental Hygiene Program,
Previously, I earned my Dental Assisting Certificate at NAIT in 1991.
I believe that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I will work with you to provide a treatment plan for your specific needs.
Hi, I'm Wendy. I have been calling Rocky Mountain House my home for over 30 years. I graduated from Canadore College in Ontario in 1988. I have been providing dental hygiene services for over 34 years. Before that, in 1984, I achieved my Dental Assisting Certificate. Outside the office, I love spending time with my daughter, family, and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, skiing, camping, yoga, and cottage country in the summer. I'm looking forward to meeting you and taking care of your dental needs. I also enjoy working 2 days a /week at Rocky Dental Clinic.
Hi, I'm Jill. I will likely be the first smile you will see when you walk through our doors! I joined Donna's team in May 2024.
I look forward to meeting you.

DO I NEED TO SEE A DENTIST?
WHAT WILL IT COST?
WILL YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?
YES!
If your young one is under 3, we offer a HAPPY VISIT! Included is:
We will answer any questions that you may have about your child's Oral Health.
Referrals to a Dentist or other health care professionals are available.
Used to detect cavities, checking the bone levels and finding calculus deposits. Xrays will be emailed to you your dentist upon your request.
Removal of the hard deposit (calculus / tartar) from above and below the gumline. Billed out a "units" 1 unit = 15 minutes. i.e.. 45 minutes of scaling would be " 3 units". Every client requires a different amount of "units" of scaling, so it's hard for us to predict the exact price.
Removal of stain / plaque from the surface of the tooth. We use "ACP" polishing paste which helps to remineralize the tooth surface and to increase the smoothness which decreases bacterial adherence and growth.
We use FLUORIMAX Varnish. Very simple to paint on. It dries and becomes 7 x thinner than other colophonies, allowing a higher quantity of fluoride to be released and in contact with the tooth. More sodium fluoride touching saliva means more of it is released rather than brushed off with the resin or swallowed in small pieces before it can be released from the colophony.
Reviewing dental and health history, intra and extra oral examination, reviewing periodontal probing records, reviewing oral hygiene instruction if necessary, referral to other health care specialists as needed.
