Meet Donna – Your Independent Dental Hygienist in
Rocky Mountain House
Hi, I'm Donna — an experienced and compassionate dental hygienist proudly serving the Rocky Mountain House community since 1997. With a philosophy rooted in treating others how I would like to be treated, I strive to provide personalized,
thorough care to every client I see.
I believe that great oral health is essential to overall well-being, and I take the time to educate my clients so they can enjoy a lifetime of optimal physical health. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach in dental care, which is why I work closely with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I graduated from the University of Alberta’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1996, following my completion of the Dental Assisting Certificate at NAIT in 1991. With decades of experience and a deep connection to this community, I’m proud to have been recognized with the Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Excellence Award in 2020.
I’ve been married for 26 years and am the proud mother of two adult children. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active in the community that I’ve been fortunate to call home for more than 25 years.
Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, I’m here to support your journey to better oral and overall health
with compassion, professionalism, and care.
Meet Wendy – Experienced Dental Hygienist Serving Rocky Mountain House
Hi, I’m Wendy. I’ve proudly called Rocky Mountain House home for over 30 years, and I bring more than three decades of experience in dental hygiene to the care I provide.
I graduated from Canadore College in Ontario in 1988 and have been dedicated to promoting oral health ever since. Prior to that, I earned my Dental Assisting Certificate in 1984, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in dental care. With over 34 years in the field, I strive to make each client feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their smile.
Outside the office, I love spending quality time with my daughter, family, and friends. I’m passionate about the outdoors — from skiing and camping to yoga and relaxing summers in cottage country. I also enjoy working two days a week at Rocky Dental Clinic, where I continue to grow and collaborate with a fantastic team.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and supporting your dental health with care, compassion, and experience you can trust.
Meet Dallas – Passionate Dental Hygienist Joining Our Team in July
Hi, I’m Dallas! I’m thrilled to be joining Donna and her team in Rocky Mountain House this July. Originally from Saskatchewan, I began my dental career in Calgary, where I became a Dental Assistant (KDM 2006). I later completed my Dental Hygiene training at SIAST in 2012, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in both general practice and a periodontal specialty clinic — experiences that have given me a strong foundation in advanced periodontal care.
I believe that great oral health is the cornerstone of overall wellness. My approach is centered on providing comfortable, thorough care while educating and empowering my clients to take charge of their dental health — because everyone deserves a healthy, confident smile.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me outdoors, enjoying everything from camping and trail running to snowboarding and cross-country skiing. I love spending time with my husband, our two dogs, and close friends — all fueled by a great cup of coffee!
I’m so excited to start this new chapter in Rocky Mountain House and can’t wait to meet you!
Meet Jill – The Friendly Face at Our Front Desk
Hello, I’m Jill — and I’ll likely be the first smile to greet you when you walk through our door! I joined Donna and her team in 2024 and am proud to be part of a practice that values compassion, quality care, and community.
I’ve called Rocky Mountain House home for the past 25 years, where my husband and I have raised our two wonderful boys. I’m passionate about helping clients feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Whether you’re booking your next dental hygiene visit or just have a question, I’m here to help.
Outside of work, I enjoy an active lifestyle that includes walking, paddleboarding, golfing, downhill skiing, and traveling — but my favorite times are those spent with family.
I look forward to welcoming you to the clinic and helping make your visit a positive experience from start to finish!

If your young one is under 3, we offer a HAPPY VISIT! Included is:
We will answer any questions that you may have about your child's Oral Health.
Referrals to a Dentist or other health care professionals are available.
Used to detect cavities, checking the bone levels and finding calculus deposits. Xrays will be emailed to you your dentist upon your request.
Removal of the hard deposit (calculus / tartar) from above and below the gumline. Billed out a "units" 1 unit = 15 minutes. i.e.. 45 minutes of scaling would be " 3 units". Every client requires a different amount of "units" of scaling, so it's hard for us to predict the exact price.
Removal of stain / plaque from the surface of the tooth. We use "ACP" polishing paste which helps to remineralize the tooth surface and to increase the smoothness which decreases bacterial adherence and growth.
We use FLUORIMAX Varnish. Very simple to paint on. It dries and becomes 7 x thinner than other colophonies, allowing a higher quantity of fluoride to be released and in contact with the tooth. More sodium fluoride touching saliva means more of it is released rather than brushed off with the resin or swallowed in small pieces before it can be released from the colophony.
Reviewing dental and health history, intra and extra oral examination, reviewing periodontal probing records, reviewing oral hygiene instruction if necessary, referral to other health care specialists as needed.
